Health Canada should indicate in the new guidance that TPD would not accept claims against vegetative cells or the use of vegetative cells to generate efficacy data in support of claims against the anaerobic spore-forming bacteria of the genus Clostridium and the aerobic or facultatively anaerobic spore-forming bacteria of the genus Bacillus.
