The object of this report is therefore to examine the provisions of the Directive in the light of the experience which has been acquired and, in particular, of the case-law of the Court, taking into account the answers of the Member States and the social partners to the questionnaire which was sent to them by the Commission (cf. Annex I) with a view to proposing possible changes.
