The present invention provides a method for treating a patient suffering from or susceptible to psychosis, comprising administering to said patient an effective amount of a first component which is an atypical antipsychotic and an effective amount of a second component which is an AMPA receptor potentiator, and the pharmaceutical compositions thereof.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et des compositions pharmaceutiques permettant de traiter un patient souffrant de psychoses, ou susceptible d'en souffrir. A cet effet, on administre au patient considéré une quantité suffisante d'un premier composant, en l'occurrence un neuroleptique atypique, et une quantité suffisante d'un second composant potentialisateur du récepteur de l'AMPA (acide $g(a)-amino-3-hydroxy-5-méthyl-isoxazole propionique).
