According to the present invention, a system and method for previewing multimedia content by using preview information data are characterized in that when multimedia content is reconfigured by using one or more pieces of original multimedia content from among audio data, video data, image data and text data, the preview information data is generated and the multimedia content is allowed to be previewed as intended by the user by using the preview information data without modifying the original multimedia content, wherein the preview information data includes multimedia content source information for each of the original multimedia content and preview control information for previewing multimedia content as reconfigured by the user.

본 발명에 따른 시연 정보 데이터를 이용한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 시연 시스템 및 방법은 오디오, 비디오, 이미지, 및 텍스트 데이터 중 1이상의 원본 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 이용하여 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 재구성함에 있어 각 원본 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 대한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 소스 정보 및 사용자가 재구성한 대로 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 시연하기 위한 시연 제어 정보를 포함하는 시연 정보 데이터를 생성하고, 이를 이용하여 원본 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 변경하지 않고 사용자가 의도한 대로 멀티미디어 콘텐츠가 시연되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
