وقد يتفاوت توزيع الزئبق بين الزئبق المؤكسد والزئبق النقي إلى حد كبير بين الأفران ويعتمد ذلك أيضاً على ظروف المعالجة عند تشغيل الفرن، وهذه كلها تؤثر على كمية الزئبق التي تزال في جهاز التنظيف الرطب.
