Some scholars have stated that the difference between ‘ بر ’ - ‘righteous’ and ‘ خير ’ - ‘goodness’ is that ‘ بر ’ refers to an act of goodness which is done with complete understanding, while ‘ خير ’ is a general word of any act of goodness (done without any understanding of its merits).

Aya Ya 7: Ni ufafanuzi wa mpangilio juu ya yale yalioelezewa na aya iliyotangulia, kwamba kuna marejeo na maswali juu ya amali na hesabu, na makusudio ya kitabu ni karatasi ya matendo (amali). Aya Ya 8: Hisabu nyepesi ni ile iliyosahilishwa na ikawa haina malumbano yoyote.
