ورغم أن عدم وجود أي إشارة إلى الحق في السكن اللائق يثير القلق، فإن الإشارة تحديداً إلى الحصول على السكن اللائق للجميع أمر هام، إذ أنها توفر على الأقل رابطاً بإطار أكثر اتساقاً متصلاً بالالتزامات القائمة في مجال حقوق الإنسان .
