The optional conditions available to the court include a requirement that the offender report to a probation officer when required to do so, abstain from alcohol or drugs, abstain from owning, possessing or carrying a weapon, participate actively in a treatment program, if the offender agrees, and comply with such other reasonable conditions as the court considers desirable for protecting society and for facilitating the offender’s successful reintegration into the community.
