كما أنه وبموجب أحكام المادة 173 من قانون المعاملات المدنية المذكور أعلاه فإن للمحكمة تعيين مساعد قضائي للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة متى بلغ عجزهم الجسماني مبلغا يجعل من الصعب عليهم الإلمام بظروف التعاقد أو التعبير عن إرادتهم وخاصة في حالات الإعاقة المزدوجة، كأن يكون المعاق "أصم أبكم"، أو "أعمى أصم" أو "أعمى أبكم".

Under the provisions of article 173 of the above-mentioned Code of Civil Procedure, the court appoints a judicial assistant for persons with disabilities if their physical incapacity is such as to make it difficult for them to fully understand the proceedings or express their wishes, particularly if they have multiple disabilities such as “deaf and dumb”, “blind and deaf” or “blind and dumb”.

Asimismo, de conformidad con las disposiciones del artículo 173 del Código de Procedimiento Civil mencionado anteriormente, el tribunal designará a un asistente judicial para las personas con discapacidad cuando su incapacidad física haga que les resulte difícil comprender los procedimientos o expresar su voluntad, sobre todo en los casos de doble discapacidad, como los de las personas sordomudas, las personas ciegas y sordas o las personas ciegas y con discapacidad intelectual.
