A process for producing a cylindrical printing plate precursor for laser engraving is provided which comprises: a step (1) in which a photosensitive resin composition layer (a) is formed on a hollow cylindrical support (b); a step (2) in which the photosensitive resin composition layer (a) formed is photocured to form a cured photosensitive-resin layer (c); and a step (3) in which the hollow cylindrical support (b) and the cured photosensitive-resin layer (c) are cut in an approximately circumferential direction for the hollow cylindrical support (b) by the laser cutting method and/or water-beam cutting method.

L'invention concerne un processus de production d’un précurseur cylindrique de planche d’impression pour gravure au laser, comportant : une étape (1) où une couche (a) d’une composition de résine photosensible est formée sur un support cylindrique creux (b) ; une étape (2) où la couche (a) de composition de résine photosensible formée est durcie par action photochimique pour former une couche (c) de résine photosensible durcie ; et une étape (3) où le support cylindrique creux (b) et la couche (c) de résine photosensible durcie sont découpés dans une direction approximativement circonférentielle du support cylindrique creux (b) par un procédé de découpe au laser et / ou un procédé de découpe par jet d’eau.
