القيام، في حدود قدراتها، برصد تنفيذ وقف أعمال القتال بموجب اتفاق جيبوتي للسلام وأي ترتيبات لاحقة لوقف إطلاق النار والترتيبات الأمنية المشتركة المتفق عليها في إطار اللجنة الأمنية المشتركة وإقامة اتصال مع اللجنة وتقديم المساعدة التقنية لها في تنفيذ مهامها، ومن بينها التحقيق في انتهاكات وقف إطلاق النار، ودعم رصد الاتجار غير المشروع بالأسلحة عن طريق موافاة فريق الرصد بأي معلومات ذات صلة بالموضوع؛

To monitor, within its capabilities, the implementation of the cessation of hostilities under the Djibouti peace agreement, as well as any subsequent ceasefire arrangements and joint security arrangements agreed through the Joint Security Committee, to liaise with the Committee and provide technical assistance in the implementation of its functions, including in the investigation of ceasefire violations, and to support the monitoring of illegal weapons traffic by informing the Monitoring Group of any related information;

Supervisar, en la medida de sus posibilidades, el cumplimiento de la cesación de las hostilidades en virtud del Acuerdo de Paz de Djibouti, así como de cualesquiera acuerdos ulteriores de cesación del fuego y acuerdos de seguridad conjuntos concertados por conducto del Comité Conjunto de Seguridad, establecer enlaces con ese Comité y prestarle asistencia técnica en el desempeño de sus funciones, incluida la investigación de violaciones de la cesación del fuego, así como prestar apoyo en la labor de vigilancia del tráfico ilícito de armas comunicando al Grupo de Supervisión cualquier información al respecto;
