If the outage will cover more than one aerodrome or a large geographic area, the NOTAM will be issued under the appropriate Flight Information Region (FIR) NOTAM file(s) instead. And to further complicate things, if the entire WAAS system or the accompanying WAAS monitoring system goes down, then a Canadian national NOTAM will be issued under the CYHQ identifier (the U.S. will publicize these outages in the U.S. Air Route Traffic Control

Comme si ce n'était pas suffisamment compliqué, si tout le système WAAS ou le système de contrôle WAAS d'accompagnement tombe en panne, alors un NOTAM national canadien est publié sous l'indicateur d'emplacement CYHQ (les É.-U. vont rendre publiques ces pannes dans les NOTAM relatives aux Centres de contrôle de la circulation aérienne en route (ARTCC) des É.-U.). Ah oui, ne comptez pas sur le contrôleur pour vous couvrir dans ce cas puisqu'il n'y a rien de prévu pour aviser l'ATC des pannes de WAAS à moins que tout le système tombe en panne.
