A wide section is dedicated to the painting of the 14th century and accommodates, besides numerous works of the Rimini School, also works of Giovanni Bellini, Domenico Ghirlandaio and Guercino. The archaeological section exposes the relicsi of the so-called domus del chirurgo (house of the surgeon), a house discovered in 1989 in Piazza Ferrari, near the museum.
