وقد سلم وزير الدولة بوزارة الداخلية بأن بعض انتقادات توجه إلى استخدام قادة الغرف، أي السجناء الذين يختارهم حرس السجون لمراقبة السلوك العدواني للنزلاء وحمايتهم من عمليات تشويه الذات التي أصبحت مشكلة خطيرة في نظام السجون.

The Minister of State of the Ministry of the Interior conceded that there is some criticism of the use of room leaders, that is, detainees selected by the prison warders to monitor anti-social behaviour and to protect against self-mutilation, which has become a serious problem in the prison system.
