Deres funktion, hr. Duisenberg, er at arbejde til gavn for hele EU's økonomi og ikke at tjene de finansielle markeder, og jeg er af den opfattelse, at Den Europæiske Centralbank indtil nu har forholdt sig meget diskret til de finansielle markeders helt klart irrationelle opførsel og det permanente kasinomiljø, der præger dem.
