A first or second comparator (Qc1, Qd1, Qc2, Qd2) is provided which is associated with the first or second oscillator respectively and which detects the passage through zero, situated between two threshold levels, of the input signal of the associated first or second oscillator and derives therefrom a separate excitation signal for the second or first oscillator respectively.
