Jedes Verbindungselement (61) ist durch zwei ineinandergreifende, voneinander lösbare Kupplungsteile (24, 34) gebildet, von welchen der eine Kupplungsteil (24) am Schutzhelm (2), bevorzugt an einer Schutzhelmschale (17), und ein weiterer Kupplungsteil (34) der Verbindungsvorrichtung (7) an der Atemschutzmaske (3) befestigt ist.
