وهذه اللجنة، التي أنشئت لتنسيق عملية تطوير تكنولوجيا المعلومات التي كانت حتى الآن مشتتة وغير منهجية، عُهد إليها بالمهام التالية: وضع استراتيجية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات على مستوى الإدارة بحيث تتماشى مع الأهداف البرنامجية للإدارة، لا سيما في عملية الإصلاح؛ وترتيب المشاريع بحسب الأولوية ومتابعتها في ضوء ضرورة مواءمتها، وضرورة تحقيق نتائج ملموسة، فضلا عن مدى توافر الموارد؛ وإسداء المشورة إلى فريق الخبراء المعني بتكنولوجيا المعلومات الذي يعمل في الوقت الراهن في إطار الاجتماع التنسيقي، والتعاون مع مجلس تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات للحرص على أن يكون تطوير تكنولوجيا المعلومات على مستوى الإدارة متماشيا مع الاستراتيجية العامة لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والمعايير المتبعة في الأمانة العامة

Set up to coordinate the heretofore scattered and unsystematic information technology (IT) development, it has the following mandates: establish a departmental IT strategy aligned with the programmatic goals of the Department, especially in the process of reform; prioritize and follow up projects in the light of the need for compatibility and tangible results, as well as the availability of resources; provide guidance to the IT expert group currently operating under the Coordination Meeting, and cooperate with the Information and Communications Technology Board to ensure that departmental IT development is in line with the overall IT strategy and standards of the Secretariat

Créé pour coordonner des activités précédemment dispersées et disparates, le Groupe a pour mandat: de définir la stratégie du Département en matière d'informatique et de télématique, en veillant à ce qu'elle réponde aux objectifs des programmes entrepris par celui-ci, particulièrement ceux touchant la réforme; de hiérarchiser les projets et d'en suivre l'exécution, eu égard aux impératifs de compatibilité et d'efficacité et compte tenu des ressources disponibles; de guider les travaux du groupe d'experts institué par la Réunion de coordination, et de coopérer avec le Comité de l'informatique et de la télématique du Secrétariat pour faire en sorte que les activités du Département dans le domaine des technologies de l'information cadrent avec la stratégie et les normes définies pour l'ensemble du Secrétariat

信息技术和通信委员会的成立是为了协调迄今为止分散和无系统的信息技术发展,它有下列任务:特别在改革进程中建立一个符合会议部方案目标的部一级信息技术战略;根据对兼容性和明显成果的需要以及现有资源等情况,确定各项目的优先次序,并采取后续行动;向目前在协调会下运作的信息技术专家小组提供指导,与信息和通信技术委员会合作,确保会议部的信息技术发展符合秘书处的总体信息技术战略和标准。
