The rack guide (18) is housed in a housing portion (16) formed in a housing (17), through which a rack shaft (8) meshing with a pinion shaft (7) is inserted, so as to be movable forward and backward with respect to the rack shaft (8) side, and supports the rack shaft (8) slidably in the axial direction of the rack shaft (8).
