For the wine of the qualitative stock to be protected by the Designation, the ratio obtained from a quotient resulting from dividing the sum of total stocks of protected wine on 1 January, minus the sales of the last 12 months (year-on-year) to 30 September, after deducing total losses declared the previous calendar year, plus the theoretical volume subject to protection resulting from the harvest of the year in question, by the total outgoing stocks of the last 12 months on 30 September (year-on-year), should be less than 2.85. Should this resulting figure be between 2.85 and 3, only 50 percent of the stock will be protected.

Para que el vino del stock cualitativo pueda ser amparado por la denominación, el ratio obtenido a partir del cociente que resulta de dividir la suma de las existencias totales de vino amparado a 1 de enero, menos la comercialización de los últimos 12 meses (interanual) al 30 de septiembre, deducidas las mermas totales declaradas el año natural anterior, más el volumen teórico amparable resultante de la cosecha del año de que se trate, entre las salidas totales de los últimos 12 meses al 30 de septiembre (interanual), habrá de ser inferior a 2,85.
