Introduction There is considerable evidence that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), particularly aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), reduce the risk of colorectal adenomas and cancer. Our goal is to determine the preventive effect of aspirin in the occurrence of colorectal adenomas or carcinomas in high-risk populations.
