وتحيط اللجنة علماً بأن الدولة الطرف تشجع وتكفل حماية الحقوق الفردية والجماعية للشعوب الأصلية سواء كانت تنتمي إلى الجماعات الفلاحية في منطقة الأنديز أو الجماعات الأصلية في منطقة الأمازون.

The Committee takes account of the fact that the State party promotes and guarantees the protection of the individual and collective rights of indigenous peoples established as campesino communities in the Andes or as native communities in the Amazon region.
