وعقب التقدم المحرز في زيادة نسبة تركيب عوامل الحرب الكيميائية، قرر المعهد توسيع نطاق مجمع المختبرات الكيميائية الذي ورثه من الفيلق الكيميائي ووضع وحدات إنتاجية أضخم في موقع جديد يقع في منطقة صحراوية نائية جنوبي مدينة سامراء.

Following the progress in the scaling up of the synthesis of chemical warfare agents, the Al-Hazen ibn al-Haitham Institute decided to expand its chemical laboratory complex inherited from the Chemical Corps and to place larger-scale production units at a new site located in a remote desert area south of the town of Samarra.

A raíz de los avances en la expansión de la síntesis de agentes de guerra química, el Instituto Al-Hazen ibn al-Haitham decidió ampliar su complejo de laboratorios químicos heredado de la Brigada Química y establecer unidades de producción a mayor escala en nuevas instalaciones emplazadas en una zona desértica remota situada al sur de la ciudad de Samarra.

Des progrès ayant été faits dans la transposition à une plus grande échelle de la synthèse des agents chimiques, l’Institut a décidé d’agrandir le complexe de laboratoires chimiques hérité du « Corps chimique » et d’installer des unités de production à grande échelle sur un nouveau site situé dans une zone désertique isolée au sud de la ville de Samarra.
