وأردف قائلا إن وفده يلاحظ بارتياح الاستعراض الذي سيقوم به الفريق العامل المعني بقانون النقل للممارسات والقوانين المتبعة حاليا في مجال النقل البحري الدولي للسلع، ويأمل أن يتم إيجاد حلول مناسبة لسد الثغرات الموجودة في القوانين القائمة، والتي تعوق حرية تدفق السلع وتؤدي إلى ارتفاع تكلفة المعاملات.

His delegation noted with satisfaction that the Working Group on Transport Law would review the current practices and laws in the area of international carriage of goods by sea, and hoped that suitable solutions would be found in order to address the gaps in the existing laws that hindered the free flow of goods and increased the cost of transactions.
