Seeds of the dwarf mistletoe, Arceuthobiumamericanum Nutt. ex Engelm., explosively discharged from plants parasitizing 40- to 60-year-old jack pine trees (Pinusbanksiana Lamb.), were collected on cheesecloth traps at two sites in Grand Beach Provincial Park at 2-h intervals during daylight hours.

Des graines de Arceuthobiumamericanum Nutt. ex Engelm., violemment dispersées par des plantes qui parasitaient des pins gris (Pinusbanksiana Lamb.) âgés de 40 à 60 ans, furent collectées, dans des trappes faites de coton à fromage, dans deux stations du parc provincial Grand Beach à intervalles de 2 h durant le jour.
