In the list of press freedom by Reporters Without Borders, Turkey is ranked 149 of the 180, and the Minister of Justice of Turkey, Bekir Bozdag, has revealed that 1,845 cases have been registered in relation to insulting the president. Moreover, in a report released by Vice President Sezgin Tanrikulu CHP (Republican People’s Party), is shown that 96,000 Twitter accounts have been blocked by court order last year, plus various controls to Internet surfing.
