وترى كوبا أن من الضروري مواصلة العمل في إطار الأمم المتحدة لتغيير النظام الدولي الحالي باعتباره نظاما مجحفا وغير مستدام، حيث تسعى الشركات القوية المتعددة الجنسيات إلى السيطرة على الموارد المعدنية في القارة الأفريقية، وحيث لا تفي البلدان الغنية، باستثناء القليل منها، بالتزاماتها بتقديم المساعدة الإنمائية الرسمية المتواضعة، وتتشبث بنظام تجارة وبراءات جائر يعرقل تحقيق التنمية في الدول الأفريقية.

Cuba considers it vital to continue working within the United Nations to change the current deeply unfair and unsustainable international order, in which powerful multinationals jostle for control of the mineral resources of the African continent and the rich countries, with some exceptions, fail to meet their modest official development assistance commitments and cling to the unjust patent and trade regime that hinders the development of the African nations.

Cuba considera imperioso continuar trabajando en el marco de las Naciones Unidas para cambiar el actual orden internacional, profundamente injusto e insostenible, en el que poderosas multinacionales pugnan por el control de los recursos minerales del continente africano, y los países ricos, salvo excepciones, incumplen los modestos compromisos de ayuda oficial y se aferran al injusto régimen de patentes y comercio que obstaculiza el desarrollo de las naciones africanas.

De l’avis de Cuba, il est impératif de continuer à œuvrer, dans le cadre de l’Organisation des Nations Unies, à la transformation de l’ordre international actuel, qui est profondément injuste et intenable et dans le cadre duquel les puissantes sociétés multinationales luttent pour s’assurer le contrôle des ressources minières du continent africain, et les pays riches, à quelques exceptions près, ne s’acquittent pas des modestes engagements qu’ils ont pris en vue d’atteindre l’objectif fixé pour l’aide publique au développement et s’accrochent au régime inique des licences et des échanges commerciaux, qui fait obstacle au développement des pays africains.

Куба считает настоятельно необходимым продолжать свою деятельность в рамках Организации Объединенных Наций в целях преобразования нынешнего в корне несправедливого и неприемлемого мирового порядка, в условиях которого всесильные транснациональные компании борются за то, чтобы установить контроль над минеральными ресурсами на Африканском континенте, а богатые страны, за некоторым исключением, не выполняют своих скромных обязательств по оказанию официальной помощи и упорно применяют несправедливый режим патентов и торговых ограничений, который тормозит развитие африканских наций.
