ولاحظت اللجنة أنّ المركز الإقليمي الأفريقي لتدريس علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء – باللغة الانكليزية، نظّم منذ تدشينه في عام 1998 ثماني دورات دراسية للخريجين مدة كل منها تسعة أشهر تناولت الاستشعار عن بعد ونظام المعلومات الجغرافية، والأرصاد الجوية الساتلية، والمناخ العالمي، والاتصالات الساتلية، وعلم الفضاء والغلاف الجوي.

The Committee noted that the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education—in English Language had, since its inauguration in 1998, organized eight nine-month postgraduate courses, on remote sensing and GIS, satellite meteorology and global climate, satellite communications, and space and atmospheric science.
