36) Wenn es wahr ist, daß das Evangelium nicht mit einer bestimmten Kultur gleichgesetzt werden kann, sondern daß es vielmehr alle Kulturen übersteigt, ist es auch zutreffend, daß »das Reich, das das Evangelium verkündet, von Menschen gelebt wird, die zutiefst an eine Kultur gebunden sind, und daß die Errichtung des Gottesreiches nicht darauf verzichten kann, sich gewisser Elemente der menschlichen Kultur und Kulturen zu bedienen«.(

While it is true that the Gospel cannot be identified with any particular culture and transcends all cultures, it is also true that "the Kingdom which the Gospel proclaims is lived by men and women who are profoundly linked to a culture, and the building up of the Kingdom cannot avoid borrowing the elements of human culture or cultures(37).
