I always felt that much like governments in the past had to invest in physical infrastructure, in this day and age, one of the main roles governments should be playing is to build digital infrastructure which will allow its citizens to get connected and be productive citizens of the global society.

હું હંમેશા માનતો આવ્યો છું કે ભૂતકાળમાં મોટા ભાગે સરકારો ફિઝિકલ ઈન્ફ્રાસ્ટક્ચર પર રોકાણ કરતી હતી, એ દિવસો અને એ તબક્કે, સરકારોની ડિજીટલ ઈન્ફ્રાસ્ટ્રકચર ઊભું કરવામાં મુખ્ય ભૂમિકાઓમાંની આ એક હતી કે જેથી નાગરિકો જોડાઈ શકતા હોત અને સમાજના પ્રોડકટિવ સિટીઝન બનતા હતા.

मैंने हमेशा यह महसूस किया कि अतीत में सरकारों ने भौतिक बुनियादी ढांचे में निवेश किया, आज के समय और युग में, सरकारों की मुख्य भूमिका डिजिटल ढांचा तैयार करने की होनी चाहिए जिससे लोगों को इससे जुड़ने का अवसर मिल सकेगा और वे वैश्विक समाज में योगदान देने योग्य नागरिक बन सकेंगे।
