Speciality steel products (stainless flat-rolled products, stainless steel bars, wire and wire products, alloy tool steel, mold steel and high speed steel) were added to the ICL effective June 1, 1987 pursuant to an amendment to the Act providing for import monitoring of steel products under certain conditions.

Les produits en acier spécialisé (produits en acier inoxydable laminé à plat, barres d'acier inoxydable, fils et produits tréfilés, acier à outils allié, acier à moules et acier rapide) ont été ajoutés à la LMIC le 1er juin 1987, après que la Loi ait été modifiée de manière que les importations de produits en acier continuent d'être surveillées dans certaines conditions.
