The Presidential Secretariat for Women, in accordance with the objective of the National Policy for the Advancement and Development of Guatemalan Women and Equal Opportunities Plan 2008–2023, shall promote the integral development of Maya, Xinca, Garifuna and mestizo women in all spheres of economic, social, political and cultural life.
