From an environmental point of view, it is significant to note that, while the project called ‘Reversible pumped-storage hydro-electric exploitation MONT-NEGRE power 3300 MW Zaragoza, Spain’ locates the infrastructure within several sites of the Natura 2000 network, the project called ‘Two reversible hydropower plants: Girones & Raimats in Spain’ places the infrastructure outside of such areas.

Desde un punto de vista medioambiental, resulta llamativo que, mientras el proyecto «Central hidroeléctrica reversible de acumulación por bombeo Montnegre 3300 MW Zaragoza (España)» ubica la infraestructura en varios parajes de la Red Natura 2000, el proyecto titulado «Dos centrales hidroeléctricas reversibles: Gironès y Raimats en España» ubica la infraestructura fuera de estas zonas.

Sur un plan environnemental, il importe de souligner que, dans le cas du projet de centrale hydroélectrique réversible à pompage «Montnegre», 3300 MW, à Saragosse (Espagne), la localisation des infrastructures empiète sur différents sites du réseau Natura 2000, alors que tel n'est pas le cas du projet portant sur deux centrales hydroélectriques réversibles à Gironès et Raimat (Espagne).
