In that regard the Subcommittee, recalling its earlier agreement that the work of IAWN and SMPAG should be facilitated by the United Nations, noted that SMPAG requested the Office for Outer Space Affairs to serve as the permanent secretariat of SMPAG on the understanding that there would be no implications to the budget of the United Nations.

В этой связи Подкомитет, ссылаясь на достигнутое им ранее согласие с тем, что Организации Объединенных Наций следует содействовать работе МСОА и КГПКМ, отметил, что КГПКМ обратилась к Управлению по вопросам космического пространства с просьбой выполнять функции постоянного секретариата КГПКМ при том понимании, что это не повлечет за собой последствий для бюджета Организации Объединенных Наций.
