تسلّم بأن بعض اللغات الرسمية تستخدم الكتابات غير اللاتينية والمزدوجة الاتجاه وأن الهياكل الأساسية التكنولوجية والتطبيقات الداعمة في الأمم المتحدة تستند إلى الكتابة اللاتينية، مما ينطوي على صعوبات في تجهيز الكتابات غير اللاتينية والمزدوجة الاتجاه، وتحث مكتب تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات على مواصلة التعاون مع إدارة شؤون الإعلام، وعلى مواصلة جهودها لضمان الدعم الكامل من الهياكل الأساسية التكنولوجية والتطبيقات الداعمة في الأمم المتحدة للكتابات اللاتينية وغير اللاتينية والمزدوجة الاتجاه، بغرض تعزيز المساواة بين جميع اللغات الرسمية في الموقع الشبكي للأمم المتحدة؛

Recognizes that some official languages use non-Latin and bidirectional scripts and that technological infrastructures and supportive applications in the United Nations are based on Latin script, which leads to difficulties in processing non-Latin and bidirectional scripts, and urges the Office of Information and Communications Technology to further collaborate with the Department of Public Information and to continue its efforts to ensure that technological infrastructures and supportive applications in the United Nations fully support Latin, non-Latin and bidirectional scripts in order to enhance the equality of all official languages on the United Nations website;
