It is true that in average only between 25 and 40 notices actually go on to a strike but in some cases the social and economic impact spans over whole regions or branches of production, such is the case of mining, where the strikes of Taxco, Guerrero; Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Met Mex Peñoles in Coahuila and Cananea have national and international impact.
