Στην πρόταση της Επιτροπής θα έπρεπε να διευκρινιστεί η σχέση των διάφορων προγραμμάτων, δραστηριοτήτων ή ομάδων εργασίας —όπως το 7ο ΠΠ και το πρόγραμμα ISA, μεταξύ άλλων— με τη SNOMED CT (Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine – Clinical Terms), την ευρύτερη, ακριβέστερη και σημαντικότερη ολοκληρωμένη, πολύγλωσση και κωδικοποιημένη κλινική ορολογία στον κόσμο, η οποία διανέμεται από την International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (Διεθνή Οργάνωση Ανάπτυξης Προτύπων Ορολογίας για την Υγεία - IHTSDO), μια μη κερδοσκοπική οργάνωση, μέλη της οποίας είναι διάφορες χώρες της ΕΕ, οι ΗΠΑ, η Αυστραλία κ.ά.

The Commission proposal should clarify the relationship between the various programmes, activities or work groups – such as the 7th framework programme and ISA – and SNOMED CT (Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine – Clinical Terms), the most wide-ranging, accurate and important encoded, multilingual and comprehensive clinical terminology in the world, distributed by the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (IHTSDO). The latter is a non-profit organisation whose members include various EU countries, the USA and Australia.

De Commissie zou duidelijker moeten aangeven wat het verband is tussen de verschillende werkprogramma's, activiteiten of werkgroepen – zoals het 7e kaderprogramma en ISA - en SNOMED CT (Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine – Clinical Terms), de meest uitgebreide, nauwkeurigste en meest gebruikte meertalige medische terminologiedatabank ter wereld, die wordt beheerd door de International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (IHTSDO), een non-profitorganisatie waarbij o.m. verschillende EU-landen, de VS en Australië zijn aangesloten.
