For his wife, Selma Younès, and his two children, T.A. and A.A., the victim’s disappearance was a frustrating, painful and stressful ordeal inasmuch as they had no information whatsoever concerning his fate for the first three years of his detention, then had to wait a further 15 years (until 31 January 2007) before learning that he was being held at the internal security forces’ headquarters, and then a further two years before they were permitted to visit him in 2009, shortly before his release.

A., la desaparición de Mohamed Hassan Aboussedra fue una experiencia paralizante, dolorosa y angustiosa porque durante los 3 primeros años que siguieron a su detención no tuvieron ninguna información sobre su suerte, y luego tuvieron que esperar otros 15 años (hasta el 31 de enero de 2007) antes de saber que estaba detenido en la sede de la seguridad interna, y otros 2 años para poder visitarlo finalmente en 2009, antes de su puesta en libertad.
