The # revision of the ICC's Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits ( # ) Articles # (b(ii)) and # (b(ii)) specifically encouraged the use of bills of lading and combined transport documents which indicated "some or all of the conditions of carriage by reference to a source or document other than the transport document itself (short form/blank back transport document)"
