The reduced requirements are attributable mainly to the exclusion of provisions for the centralized tetra system, which was only required during the 2015/16 period, and the planned acquisition of fewer items of communications equipment owing mainly to the limited replacement of essential items during the 2016/17 period, compared with the 2015/16 period.
