Participants in the summit appointed three special envoys (Ambassador Seyoum Mesfin of Ethiopia, General Lazaro Sumbeiywo of Kenya and General Mohamed Ahmed Mustapha al-Dabi of the Sudan) to support the Government of South Sudan and the members of the self-proclaimed SPLM/A in Opposition to reach, in an inclusive manner, a resolution to the crisis and initiate a dialogue by 31 December.

Los participantes en la cumbre nombraron a tres enviados especiales (el Embajador Seyoum Mesfin, de Etiopía, el General Lazaro Sumbeiywo, de Kenya y el General Mohamed Ahmed Mustapha al-Dabi, del Sudán) para apoyar al Gobierno de Sudán del Sur y los miembros del autoproclamado SPLM/A en la Oposición a fin de que alcanzaran, de manera incluyente, una solución a la crisis e iniciaran un diálogo antes del 31 de diciembre.
