A pharmaceutical composition for treating bone diseases, which comprises, as an active ingredient: a protein which comprises an extarcellular cysteine-rich domain derived from a Frizzled receptor selected from the group consisting of Frizzled1, Frizzled2 and Frizzled7 derived from a mammal and having an activity to increase a bone mass, a bone density and/or bone strength, or comprises a mutant of the domain which has a 85% or higher sequence identity with the amino acid sequence for the domain and has an activity to increase a bone mass, a bone density and/or bone strength; or a vector carrying a nucleic acid encoding the protein.

La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique destinée à traiter des maladies des os, qui comprend, comme ingrédient actif : une protéine qui comprend un domaine extracellulaire riche en cystéine dérivé d’un récepteur Frizzled choisi dans le groupe comprenant Frizzled1, Frizzled2 et Frizzled7 dérivé d’un mammifère et ayant une action sur l’augmentation d’une masse osseuse, d’une densité osseuse et/ou d’une résistance mécanique osseuse, ou comprend un mutant du domaine qui a une identité de séquence supérieure ou égale à 85 % avec la séquence d’acides aminés correspondant au domaine et a une action sur l’augmentation d’une masse osseuse, d’une densité osseuse et/ou d’une résistance mécanique osseuse; ou un vecteur transportant un acide nucléique codant pour la protéine.
