The official South African order of wear was revised in 1994 to include the military decorations and medals of the defence forces of the Republics of Transkei, Bophuthatswana, Venda and Ciskei which were integrated with the South African Defence Force (SADF) into the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) on 27 April 1994.

De officiële Zuid-Afrikaanse draagvolgorde werd in 1994 herzien om er de militaire decoraties en medailles van de weermachten van de republiek Transkei, Bophuthatswana, Venda en Ciskei in op te nemen die op 27 april 1994 samen met de Zuid-Afrikaanse Weermacht (SAW) waren geïntegreerd in de Zuid-Afrikaanse Nationale Weermacht (SANW).
