وأكد الوزراء مجدداً على أن مفهوم النمو الأخضر ينبغي، حسب رأيهم ورأي اتفاقية مكافحة التصحر، أن يشمل المسائل المتعلقة بالإدارة المستدامة للأراضي والهياكل الأساسية الزراعية والريفية ونظم توفير وتخزين المياه، وهي المسائل التي تعتبر جميعها ضرورية لتحقيق أهداف اتفاقية مكافحة التصحر.

Ministers reiterated that, in their understanding and from the UNCCD point of view, the concept of green growth should fully integrate sustainable land management, agricultural and rural infrastructure, food production, and water availability and storage systems, which are all considered as essential to the achievement of the UNCCD objectives.

Los ministros reiteraron que, en su entendimiento, y desde el punto de vista de la CLD, el concepto del crecimiento verde debería integrar plenamente la ordenación sostenible de las tierras, la infraestructura agrícola y rural, la producción de alimentos y la disponibilidad de recursos hídricos y los sistemas de almacenamiento del agua, todos ellos considerados esenciales para el logro de los objetivos de la CLD.

Les ministres ont réaffirmé que, dans leur esprit et dans l’optique de la Convention, cette notion devait être pleinement intégrée dans la gestion durable des terres, les infrastructures agricoles et rurales, la production alimentaire et les systèmes de mise à disposition et de stockage de l’eau, qui sont tous considérés comme essentiels pour atteindre les objectifs de la Convention.

Министры повторили, что − как по их пониманию, так и с точки зрения КБОООН − в концепции экологичного роста должны быть в полной мере учтены такие аспекты, как устойчивое управление земельными ресурсами, инфраструктура сельского хозяйства и сельских районов, производство продовольствия, а также доступность воды и системы ее хранения, которые вкупе рассматриваются в качестве существенного условия достижения целей КБОООН.
