Bevillinger fra ESPRIT-programmet er, i overensstemmelse med beslutningen om vedtagelse af programmet, bl.a. blevet anvendt til undersoegelse af den aktuelle udvikling paa det tekniske omraade, industriens staerke og svage sider, udsigterne for udvikling af den eller til evaluering af de forskellige EF-aktionsmidler.

Gemäß dem Wortlaut der Entscheidung über die Annahme des Programms wurden die Mittel des Programms ESPRIT insbesondere zur Untersuchung folgender Themen eingesetzt: gegenwärtiger technischer Stand, Stärken und Schwächen der Industrie, Entwicklungsperspektiven für die Industrie sowie Bewertung der einzelnen Instrumente der Gemeinschaftsaktionen.

As stipulated in the Decision adopting the programme, the ESPRIT programme's appropriations have been allocated primarily to the study of the latest technology, the strengths and weaknesses of industry, future development of industry or the evaluation of the various instruments for Community action.
