In 1749 the Company did not run the hospice any longer, and probably it had been dissolved before; the Congregation of Charity, that administered its financial incomes, as they did not host pilgrims going to the Holy Land or to the various sanctuaries, assigned those financial returns to the poorhouse (Ricovero di Mendicità) which had to be founded using the patrimony inherited from the De Blasi Mangione.

Nel 1749 la Compagnia non gestiva più l'ospizio e probabilmente si sciolse prima del 1820; la Congregazione della Carità, che ne amministrava le rendite finanziarie, considerato che non venivano più alloggiati pellegrini che si recavano o in Terrasanta o nei vari santuari, attribuì quelle rendite al "Ricovero di Mendicità" che doveva essere fondato utilizzando il patrimonio dell'eredità De Blasi Mangione.
