(38) Tager man hoejde for, at konkurrencen paa det europaeiske bilmarked ogsaa finder sted i salgsleddet, mener Kommissionen, at produktdifferentieringen og avancerne paa MPV-markedet vil give tilstraekkelig mulighed for en vis konkurrence mellem Ford og VW, paa trods af at de i princippet vil koebe deres MPV-versioner fra joint venture-selskabet til samme pris.

(38) Im Hinblick darauf, daß der Wettbewerb auf den europäischen Automobilmärkten auch auf der Vertriebsebene stattfindet, werden nach Auffassung der Kommission die Produktdifferenzierungen und die im MPV-Segment vorhandenen Gewinnspannen genügend Spielraum für ein bestimmtes Ausmaß an Wettbewerb zwischen Ford und VW zulassen, obwohl diese ihre MPV grundsätzlich zum gleichen Preis von dem GU beziehen werden.

(38) Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη ότι ο ανταγωνισμός στις ευρωπαϊκές αγορές αυτοκινήτων υφίσταται επίσης και σε επίπεδο διανομής, η Επιτροπή θεωρεί ότι η διαφοροποίηση του προϊόντος και τα περιθώρια κέρδους στο τμήμα MPV επιτρέπουν τη διατήρηση ορισμένου βαθμού ανταγωνισμού μεταξύ της Ford και της VW παρά το γεγονός ότι αγοράζουν τα MPV από την κοινή επιχείρηση, κατ' αρχήν, στην ίδια τιμή.

(38) Taking into account that competition in the European car markets also takes place on the distribution level, the Commission considers that the product differentiation and profit margins in the MPV segment will leave sufficient scope for a certain degree of competition between Ford and VW despite the fact that they will purchase their versions of the MPVs from the JV, in principle, at the same price.

(38) Étant donné que la concurrence sur les marchés automobiles européens se joue également au niveau de la distribution, la Commission considère que la différenciation des produits et les marges de rentabilité du segment des monocorps permettront un degré suffisant de concurrence entre Ford et VW, en dépit du fait que ceux-ci achèteront en principe au même prix leurs versions respectives du monocorps à l'entreprise commune.

(38) Gelet op het feit dat de concurrentie op de Europese markten voor auto's ook op het niveau van de afzet optreedt, is de Commissie van mening dat de produktdifferentiatie en de winstmarges in het marktsegment voor PW's voldoende ruimte zullen laten voor een zekere mate van concurrentie tussen Ford en VW, ondanks het feit dat zij hun model van de PW's in beginsel tegen dezelfde prijs van de GO zullen afnemen.
