وتمثلت أهداف هذه العملية في إعادة استتباب النظام والأمن في المنطقة من خلال وجود البعثة وسيطرتها الراسخة والدائمة، مما ييسر استعادة الاستقلال الوظيفي للشرطة في المنطقة تدريجيا وتهيئة الأوضاع للقيام بالأنشطة الطبيعية، من أداء الإدارة العامة لوظائفها على النحو الواجب إلى إعادة تنشيط التجارة واستئناف أنواع مختلفة من العمليات الإنسانية على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي

The objectives of the operation were to restore order and security in the area through the presence and the firm and ongoing control of MINUSTAH, which will facilitate the gradual restoration of the autonomous functioning of the police in the area, as well as create conditions for the normalization of activities ranging from the proper functioning of the public administration to the reactivation of trade and the relaunching of various types of humanitarian operations at the local and international levels

Los objetivos de la acción eran restablecer el orden y la seguridad en la zona a través de una presencia y un control firme y perdurable de la MINUSTAH que facilitara el restablecimiento local y autónomo de la Policía Nacional de Haití en la localidad, así como crear condiciones para la normalización de actividades que van desde el funcionamiento de los servicios públicos hasta la reactivación del movimiento comercial y el relanzamiento de operaciones humanitarias de diversa índole por parte de actores locales e internacionales

Les objectifs de cette action étaient de rétablir l'ordre et la sécurité dans la région grâce à une présence et à un contrôle fermes et durables de la MINUSTAH, ce qui faciliterait le rétablissement progressif du fonctionnement autonome de la Police nationale au niveau local et créerait les conditions nécessaires à la normalisation d'activités allant du fonctionnement des services publics à la relance des échanges commerciaux et à la reprise de diverses opérations humanitaires de la part d'acteurs locaux et internationaux

Целью операции было восстановление порядка и безопасности в этом районе на основе присутствия и твердого и постоянного контроля МООНСГ, что будет способствовать постепенному восстановлению автономного функционирования полиции в районе, а также создаст условия для нормализации деятельности- от надлежащего функционирования государственного управления до оживления торговли и возобновления на различных этапах гуманитарных операций на местном и международном уровнях
