In view of the commitment made by the Governments of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda on # ovember # it is my intention to share with the Security Council by the end of October # my assessment of the implementation of that commitment and of the continued threat posed by ex-FAR/Interahamwe forces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the security of Rwanda and the peaceful holding of elections in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
