ويتناول الفرع الرابع من تقرير الأمين العام الكراسات النموذجية لخمسة من أبواب الميزانية البرنامجية لفترة السنتين 2000-2001(1) وكما يتبين من الفقرة 45 من التقرير، فقد أعدت الكراسات النموذجية لأغراض التوضيح ، أي لغرض بيان صلاح مفاهيم ومصطلحات الميزنة على أساس النتائج للتطبيق في الأمم المتحدة.

Section IV of the report of the Secretary-General deals with prototype fascicles for five sections of the programme budget for the biennium 2000-2001.1 As indicated in paragraph 45 of the report, the fascicles were prepared for illustrative purposes to demonstrate the applicability of results-based budgeting concepts and terminology to the United Nations.

La sección IV del informe del Secretario General se refiere a los fascículos de prueba de cinco secciones del presupuesto por programas para el bienio 2000–20011. Según se indica en el párrafo 45 del informe, los fascículos se han preparado a modo de ejemplo, para demostrar la aplicabilidad a las Naciones Unidas de la terminología y los conceptos de la presupuestación basada en los resultados.
